Bridals

Yesterday was the day I took my Bridals! It was sunny, snowy, and cloudy! I got a whole array of weather! It was fun though and I must say I think I looked pretty darn cute! Here are a few of my favorites. We started here and it was snowing!

ONLY 9 DAYS!!!

I can't believe it! We are in the single digits. Things just keep getting closer and closer and it makes me a little nervous. George is nervous too. At least we both know that the other is nervous and we can be nervous together. It will be really nice not to have to send him home every night. I hate that part of being engaged. I won't have to stay up waiting for him to come home. I will be able to go to sleep and let him wake me up when he gets there and we won't have to stay up all night because if we don't see each other for a few minutes at midnight then we won't get to see each other at all! Being good has gotten easier, which is nice! We are so close to our goal that we wouldn't dream of messing it up!

I'm excited to pick up my wedding and temple dresses today! Then the bachelorette party is tomorrow. I must admit, I am pretty excited to see what happens. :) Here's to a wonderful day!

My mom and sisters

I just wanted to say how much I love my mom and sisters! They are wonderful! They are always there when I need them and always loving and supportive. I don't know what I would do without them. They are absolutely my best friends, along with George of course! Throughout the whole engagement process they have loved and supported me and helped me with all of the things I have needed help with. I have really appreciated it! I don't think they will ever realize how much it has meant to have them helping me along the way!!! I love them. I am thankful for the good times we have together. For things like the hoof, gully, wads, and such! For memories that are unbelievably hilarious! I probably don't tell them enough how much I love them but I really don't know what I would do without them!!!!

Bridal Showers and Shows

Saturday was a busy day for me! George and I went to the tux shop and got those picked out and then I dragged the poor boy to a Bridal Show! That was fun but he wasn't feeling well and I'm sure it wasn't joyful for him, except that we did pick him up a free haircut, so that was great!

After the bridal show I went to the bridal shower! That was fun. It was so great to see all of the old ward members. I love those women and it was so great to see them and so great of my friends to put it all together. I can't believe their generosity and am so thankful that I have such wonderful people in my life. They are making our home complete and I so appreciate it.

Becky and Cindy were wonderful to put it together for me. They are awesome! I am lucky to have such great friends! The time is drawing closer and the closer it gets, the more nervous I get. Yes, I am totally excited and can't wait to marry George but it is a little nerve wracking to completely change your life in a manner that you aren't used to at all! I CAN'T WAIT! Only 12 more days. Just got to help the boy feel better. :)

I hate the washer and the scale!

Both are broken, at least I would like to believe one is and I know the other is. The washer that I just bought in food faith on KSL is leaking. Grrrr. They told me it was in good working condition and that is so frustrating!! George is going to try to find the leak and hopefully he and his dad can get it fixed in time for me to do laundry, but what a pain!!! With the money that I have put into it already, I should have just bought one of the newer ones online or bought a new one. Oh the lessons we learn! I have begun to come to the opinion that new is almost always better!

As for the scale, the darn thing doesn't like to go anywhere except within this same two pound range. Why can't it go down? Someone explain it to me. Not eating over my calories, kicking my butt at the gym and yet it stays the same!! BOOOOOOOO! So I am convince the scale is broken as well.

Oh the joys of life! Life is good and wonderful. Heavenly Father just gives us trials to make us a little stronger each day and teach us something. Even with those little things, I have seen other little miracles in my life (like my tax return and finding a good place to live). I know He is helping me out. I just have to remember those blessings when the tough things happen!!

Only 17 days!! I am pumped! Even more excited that I am taking a mental health day (aka sick day) tomorrow and going to the temple with my mom and then lingerie shopping. lol.

Only 19 days!

We made it to the teens! I can't believe it! People kept telling me that time would go by fast and I didn't believe any of them, but it really is flying by. I can't believe how close it is. Less than three weeks now! I am excited! Excited to see all the people I love, excited to have Kevin and Vanessa here and excited to marry George! Wow, I can't believe it! The plans are looking good. I have not been worrying about too much lately! All we have left to do is get the marriage license and recommends, the tuxes, pick up my dress and then a couple other things that I have to buy and then you know the basic getting my hair cut and nails done, stuff like that. I thought I would be more stressed at this point. Oh yeah, I have to get my bridal pictures taken too. That should be fun! :) Life is great. I am excited and happy and will be even happier when I don't have to live in my scary house alone.
